In celebration of LGBTQIA+ Pride Month, join the City of Hyattsville’s Age Friendly Work Group and Race and Equity Task Force for a thought-provoking panel discussion and ‘Pride-hour’ event. Through inter-generational dialogue and open exchange, our esteemed panel of experts, advocates, and community leaders will provide insights into the rich tapestry of LGBTQ+ experiences. From discussing historical milestones to exploring contemporary issues and providing community resources for support, we'll delve into important issues for people of all sexual orientations and gender identities. Together, we’ll embrace the spirit of LGBTQIA+ Pride in Hyattsville. Following the panel discussion, stay for ‘Pride-hour’-- a happy-hour style opportunity to connect with panelists and participants over small bites, wine, and beer. There will be a cash bar available to participants 21+
