Spring Camp

The City of Hyattsville Youth Programs team is committed to providing quality recreational programs for elementary aged children when school is out. Spring Camp is part of our seasonal day camp programs, which creates space for children to explore arts and crafts, learn a little with STEM, and gain exposure to a variety of sports and games.

Things to know about Spring Camp during the COVID-19 Pandemic

Residency

What does it mean to be a City of Hyattsville resident? And why are fees different for Non City residents?

A City of Hyattsville residents refers to those who live within the corporate limits of the City of Hyattsville. Residents pay City tax and therefore pay a reduced fee. Having a Hyattsville mailing address does not indicate being a City of Hyattsville resident. To verify your residency, visit www.hyattsville.org/map.

Accommodations and Inclusion

Please let us know if your child needs an accommodation. The best way to let us know is to indicate the need during the registration process. You can also note accommodations in your child's RecDesk profile. We will contact you within 1 week (5 business days) after submitting registration, to discuss the best plan of action for inclusion. Please note all request must be made at least 2 weeks (10 business days) prior to the start of any camp program to ensure the best service for your child.

You may also contact the Youth Programs Supervisor, Saarah Abdul-Rauf, to discuss your child accommodations prior to registration by phone 301-985-5056 or via email  srauf@hyattsville.org
