COVID-19 Vaccines

A COVID-vaccine can prevent serious illness by allowing your body to create antibodies that will protect you from contracting the virus. All Maryland residents 12* and older are eligible for a COVID-19 vaccine, regardless of insurance coverage or immigration status.  For information about vaccine distribution in Prince George's County, visit the County's COVID-19 Vaccination website

*Only the Pfizer vaccine is currently approved for use in children ages 12-17 and is not offered at all sites. If you are seeking to get vaccinated at the Hyattsville site, please make an appointment for children ages 12-17 to guarantee availability. Pfizer vaccines may not be available for walk-ups. Minors must be accompanied by an adult for their vaccine.

Walk-up vaccination requests are also now being accepted on Tuesdays, between 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., as supplies allow. Appointments are still the most reliable way to ensure you receive a vaccine. Notices are shared with the community when there are leftover vaccine doses at the end of the day; sign up at www.hyattsville.org/notifyme.

When you arrive for your appointment, please enter and park in the Church’s parking lot accessed off Queens Chapel Road. Vaccines will take place inside the Church’s Fellowship Hall.
