Wards and Polling Places

Residents must vote at the location assigned for their Ward. Wards are assigned based on each voter's address in the agency voter registration records. 

Your assigned Ward can be determined by using one of the following resources:

  • Check the City's Map page on the City's website
  • Email the Office of the City Clerk at cityclerk@hyattsville.org 
  • Call (301) 985-5000 during the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.


Early Voting 


The City of Hyattsville will hold Early Voting at the Magruder Park Recreation Center, 3911 Hamilton Street. Residents from all wards will vote at the same location for Early Voting. Early Voting will take place on the following days:

  • Saturday, April 27, 2019, 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM 
  • Saturday, May 4, 2019, 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM 
Please note: the City of Hyattsville will be hosting its 133rd Anniversary Carnival from April 25 - April 28 at Magruder Park. Due to the City's Parade, Hamilton Street will be closed to traffic from 9:00 AM - approximately 1:00 PM on April 27, 2019. If you wish to vote early on that day and require assistance to the building, please contact (301) 985-5000 to schedule a Call-A-Bus ride to the Magruder Park Recreation Center. The City will also provide temporary handicapped parking spaces in front of the building.

Election Day will be on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 from 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM. Polling Locations can be found below:
