Harvest and Use

  • Harvest in September - October. Figs turn purple-brown and are slightly soft when ripe.
  • Figs have a sweet and honey-like flavor.
  • Figs can be eaten whole, baked into pies, cakes, or breads, or made into jams and jellies. They are also great dried!
