Hyattsville City Code Section 68-5
The City of Hyattsville requires a permit for and limits the placement, height, and permeability of walls, fences of any height, and hedges. Additionally, the Prince George’s County Building Code Section 4-111 (a) (1) requires a permit to be obtained before a fence in excess of 48" in height can be erected. No fence gate may be designed or allowed to swing out across the public sidewalk.
