Interior Property Maintenance
The Prince George’s County Housing and Property Standards Code requires all walls, floors, and ceilings be maintained free from cracks, holes, and peeling paint. The interior of every dwelling shall be kept in a clean and sanitary condition free from rubbish.

Exterior Property Maintenance

Water Management
Gutters and downspouts must be provided and maintained free of obstructions and in good condition. Sump pumps may not be installed so that water runs across any public way or damages adjoining property. The City of Hyattsville Code adopts the County Housing and Property Standards.
