The City is suspending bulk waste residential pick-ups during December to allow team members to support leaf collection and snow removal services. Previously confirmed pickups will be honored. Bulk waste services are expected to resume the week of January 17.

The City’s Public Works Department will host a Bulk Waste Pop-Up Day on Saturday, January 8, at the City Building and DPW Operations Center. Hyattsville residents can drop off bulk waste items at either location from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., or until containers reach capacity. Learn more at hyattsville.org/bulk-waste.
Toby's Dinner Theatre
Hyattsville Seniors on the Go is back! Pre-registration for Irving Berlin’s White Christmas Musical at Toby’s Dinner Theatre on Thursday, December 9, is now open! A $30 ticket includes round-trip transportation and access to a full buffet. The bus leaves from the City Building at 4:45 p.m. and Friendship Arms at 5 p.m. and will return to Hyattsville by 11:30 p.m. Proof of vaccination is required.

Looking for service hours or a way to help your community? Join us on Saturday, December 18, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., to remove non-native, invasive plants from Driskell Park. The City provides work gloves, but volunteers should dress appropriately by wearing sturdy shoes, pants, and long sleeve outerwear.
