  7. Seniors On The Go: Tour of the National Museum of African American History & Culture

    The City of Hyattsville is once again taking seniors and people with disabilities on a tour of the National Museum of African American History & Culture. This trip to the Smithsonian's newest museum is FREE, but feel free to enjoy food from the museum's Sweet Briar Cafe on your own. Bus pick up is at 8 AM the City Building (4310 Gallatin Street), followed by pick up at Friendship Arms Apartments. Reservations are first come first serve, so call (301) 985-5058 as soon as possible to confirm your spot!

  11. Electronics and Paint Recycling Drop Off

    October 21, 2017, 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM @ Department of Public Works Operations Center

    Electronics can be dropped off FREE OF CHARGE, including: batteries, cameras, cell phones, electrical cords, computers, monitors, keyboards, laptops, microwaves, toasters, toaster ovens, televisions, video games, video consoles, and CD players. Department of Public Works staff will be on-site to direct you and answer any questions you may have. Yuck Old Paint staff will be with us, as well.
