CONSENT AGENDA
To declare the attached list of vehicles to be surplus property, to be sold
by Internet auction to the highest bidder.
To authorize the street closure of the 4000 block of Ingraham Street on
Saturday, September 23, 2000 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
To authorize the appointment of Virginia Escalona to the Planning Committee,
and Barbara Carlson to the WSSC Committee, both representing Ward 3.
To purchase a full page advertisement in DeMatha’s Athletic Magazine, and
that the cost of $250 be charged to the Mayor and Council’s Municipal
Affairs line item.

MOTION To authorize support of ArtSpin including the use of City equipment,
and financing expenditures not to exceed $500 from the Municipal Affairs

MOTION To approve an exemption for Kay Management (T/A Kirkwood Apartments)
from the gate requirement contained in the City’s Dumpster Enclosure
Ordinance.- Frazier
MOTION To approve the permitting of Magruder Park on October 22, 2000 by the
Latin American Cultural Heritage Foundation Ltd. for a fundraising event
benefiting needy children in Latin America, subject to conditions set by the
City. - Perry
MOTION To proclaim September 20, 2000, to be “Undoing Racism Day” to
reaffirm the commitment of the City of Hyattsville to equality and freedom
for all the people regardless of race, religion, sexual preference or
